aswaaq LLC reinforces charitable initiatives during the Holy Month of Ramadan

aswaaq L.L.C., the pioneering local brand delivering a top-quality retail experience in a friendly shopping environment, has reinforced a series of charitable initiatives during the Holy Month of Ramadan. aswaaq LLC has been committed to serving the local communities since the inception of the brand. 

According to The Chief Operating Officer for aswaaq LLC - Ms. Shamsa Lootah: “aswaaq always finds different and effective ways to give back to the community, it is an ongoing mission for us. We are involving our customers with us, through charitable channels or by organizing small events.” 

aswaaq LLC is committed to giving back to the community, and this year has signed an MOU with Dar Al Ber to add to its charitable portfolio. Fils Al Khair is one of these initiatives that started in 2013, to enable all aswaaq customers to donate the small denominations (Fils) from shopping bills to charitable societies, where collected amounts are donated annually on Zayed Humanitarian Day. The collected amount will go to the Islamic Affairs & Charitable Activities Department for Zayed Kidney Center.  Another charitable initiative “Endowment” that started in 2016 were aswaaq LLC allocates a percentage of each purchase from (أ) Alef branded products to the diabetes research at Al Jalila Foundation. 

aswaaq LLC continues its “Appreciation to the Senior Emiratis Initiative” that started in 2016, and with the collaboration of Thukhur Social Club, by organizing recreational activities/Suhour with the elderly. The initiative comes to enhance the role of aswaaq LLC in giving back to the community, to better interact with the society, and demonstrate appreciation and gratitude for Senior Emiratis.
